GLINT @ THE ROCKHOUSE 13/08/09
Atmosphere is an important factor at any gig, something most bands struggle to sustain. Tonight, New York based- Glint have composed an entire cosmos of intrinsically stunning sounds, the foundation built on airy yet intense guitar riffs, euphoria inducing keys, pounding drums and melodic bass lines. Ranging from electro to stadium, to post rock and beyond, each song takes unexpected twists and turns, all of which is held intact by Jase Blankfort’s eerie yet serenading vocals. With the melancholy ‘boy of the stars’ to the euphoric ‘damaged goods’, the boys have left a lingering magic in the mid week air.
