Following on from the release of the ‘Arcs Across the City’ mini album (Nov ’07)
first two single ‘Our Bipolar Friends’ and ‘Eyes Wide Terrified’ (Feb and May 08) and the brilliant debut album ‘Waited Up ‘til It Was Light’ (June 08), JOHNNY FOREIGNER are set to release their new single ‘Salt, peppa and Spinderella’ on September 8th. The 10” ‘Pac man’ yellow vinyl features remixes from Bloc Party, Dolby Anol featuring Acrnym (of Dananananakyroyd) and Nibiru (of Sacha and Digweed ).
 
‘Salt, Peppa and Spinderella’ is the perfect follow up single and already the bloggers track of choice from the album. The band have had strong support at Radio 1 and XFM and press with NME, Kerrang, Rock Sound, The Fly and many more. Live, JOHNNY FOREIGNER have recently supported the likes of Idlewild, Los Campesinos, Young Knives, Blood Red Shoes, The Subways and Forward Russia including appearances at NME Brats, SXSW, and the Great Escape. This summer has also already seen appearances at Lounge on the Farm, Truck Festival, Lovebox, Lattitude, Standon Calling, Hurricane & Southside (Germany) and T in the Park. Still to come are sets at Summersonic (Japan), Reading and Leeds, Offset in London and Sugarhill festivals before starting on their own headline UK tour in September (with support from Dananananaykroyd)
