City Beneath Her
Formed in late 2008, this progressive alt-rock three-piece aim to push their musical boundaries using innovative songwriting, whilst retaining hooks that will stay in your head for a minimum of 27 days.
Live Like Lions
Formed in June 2009 and arrived with the concept of making great party music with an appreciation for a killer tune. They conceive/write/record everything from their home studio, in which they also sleep, eat and party. They are an extremely welcoming group of boys, and cordially invite you to visit their North London palace for tea and dancing… This autumn they will be starting a series of their own monthly parties at The Fly on Oxford Street as well as playing numerous venues throughout the UK.
Rob Mac
Working as a solo artist on his debut Acoustic EP that will be released in Spring 2010. Rob’s solo material is a unique fusion of R&B, Soul and Acoustic. Influences stem from John Mayer’s lyrical virtuosity, to the soul-fuelled vocals of Lauryn Hill. The neo-soul movement heavily influences Rob, with artists such as Musiq Soulchild and Dwele. However, he combines the acoustic intimacy of artists such as Robin Thicke with the raw emotion of your classic soul tracks.
Despite these influences, Rob Owen Mac is a truly unique experience. Whether heard live or through your speakers, you will be instantly taken on a musical journey, back to the Atlantic Soul of the sixties and seventies, then right up to a new birth of music alongside the likes of D’Angelo and Anthony Hamilton.
Singer Songwriter Stefan Kelk is from Canterbury playing his newest material yet with a few arranged cover songs. Originally a soul singer from various funk groups in the South East, with a tone often likened to that of James Morrison or John Mayer. He is now reverting back to his roots with more intimate acoustic performances with modern folk/jazz influences.
