Oddyssey release their debut EP "Black America" on the 9th November on Recession Records. The EP will be available both digitally and as a limited handmade CD via the bands website, at lives shows and all good independent records stores. Fronted by the husky voiced Rosie Oddie the "Black America EP" showcases the band's smart, urgent, glamorous sound over four songs. The E.P. tips its hat in the direction of Bowie and Blondie, Marianne Faithfull, The Primitives and all the nights you can't remember.

"Black America" however is more than a collection of songs from yet another new band with floppy hair and skinny fit jeans. Oddyssey see themselves more as a collective than a band and the "Black America EP" will coincide with an art installation at The Roundhouse Studio in November.

Casella are; Elle Ashwell, Dan Edney and Charlie Grimsdale. Based in Bath the group take their collective influences from; Janis Joplin, Andrew Strong, Lady GaGa, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Talking Heads, Jefferson Airplane and Steely Dan. They think they sound like porn music mixed with a little bit of poppy class.

Born a singer/songwriter from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, Jamieo Vendetta has been described by some as a natural blues rock singer, guitarist, keyboard player and songwriter. His music blends hard rock, glam, americana and blues into one mainstream sound.
