Julie Collings was born in the Midland’s. Since Julie’s early teens she has been a keen writer and performer. Whilst her friends were hanging out at home Julie spent her teenage years touring the UK, honing her skills as a performer, singer and songwriter. Now with her completely self produced / written new album “A Little Bird Told Me” those early years of hard work look set to pay off. Her crafted, beautiful music has already seen Julie invited to share the stage with masters of contemporary songwriting such as Squeeze’s Glenn Tilbrook and BC Camplight whilst her recordings have also featured in Frederic Lumiere’s “Tomorrow Is The Day” Film & Soundtrack, and the Danish Film Institutes 'Daniel'.
