Alright The Captain write what comes naturally in the rehearsal room, culminating in a weird mix of musical styling with an elusive sound that ranges from the down right strange and dirty to melodic day dreams that spiral into insanity. In the short space of time the Captain’s been together they’ve shared the stage with great bands like Mono, Zu, Amusement parks on Fire, Maybeshewill, And so I watch you from afar, Jeniferever and many more all over the UK and Ireland.
After 7 minutes a funk-laden groove emerged out of the silence. A further 3 minutes later concentrated bubbles of hard rock began to effervesce and mix with the funk vapours already in the air. When the contents of the flask was allowed to cool to room temperature, complex harmonic particles formed in the rock/funk mixture, with a smooth melodic miniscus lining the top of the flask. The result is Science Will Save Us.
The Myways are a four piece Alternative Rock band based in Burton On Trent. The band incorporate influences from several genre's to make a sound described as "raw and energetic with a dark, powerful edge". After 7 months of writing original material, the band's ambitions are to play gigs regularly across the country and show people their organic and fresh take on performing music.
