FOUR DEAD IN OHIO are a four piece band that was born in September 2007. The lead vocalist and guitarist Jakob Ohlen formed the band after moving over from Sweden and recruited the remaining members Stuart North (bass), Doug Mallett (guitar) Rick Mckay (Drums) after bumping into them at various pubs and a late night Kebab Shop. Realising they shared the same love for films and psychedelic bands; it was time to set up their own creation.
 
In order to make the live show an experience to remember, They found a projector, gathered up a collection of images and clips from favourite films and converted these into visuals…only one last thing…switch all the lights off in the venue and the band are ready to play.
 
Their first gig was a support to The Raveonettes at Bush Hall, which went down so well this opened doors to further supports with the likes of The Duke Spirit, Ladytron, The Datsuns and The Black Angels.
 
After much touring in the UK it was time to release the debut single, this came in September 2008. ‘Jesus Wont Dance In My High Heels’ received fantastic reviews from the music press (Rock Sound, NME) and airplay included spins on Radio 1, XFM, Q Radio and BBC6 Music. With word spreading the band received further radio coverage over in France, New Zealand, America and Romania; some countries which they have never even visited yet. Another run of UK dates are to be announced very soon and with a sound and live show which is turning audience members into hardcore fans, the band is picking up pace.

After spending three years gigging throughout the midlands with highlights such as a 3,000 strong crowd at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall and Birmingham's Centenary Square, two of the founding members of THE RESPONSE have formed a new collaboration: Thick As Thieves.

Dirty Tux are 3 Best of friends from small town Derbyshire breaking down the hatches from the typical pigeon hole of bands. Dirty and catchey Rock n Roll like Iggy Pop gettin wrecked with the Kings of Leon.
