They are often compared to Led Zepplin, Hawkwind, Pink Floyd and Wolfmother. Having played Derby a few times before and blown crowds away at The Venue this is the first time at The Rockhouse. Toxic Federation   are a Breaston based band emerging as one of the most exciting musical forces in the Nottingham and Derby scenes. Following several years of intense but successful performing, Toxic Federation have amassed huge support in the Midlands and have growing support across the UK. Adrenalin fuelled live shows are remembered for incredible guitar and drum performances, a consistently exciting stage act, and an ever present atmosphere that just screams, “this band know just how to push your buttons”.

Sable Dawn combine technically accomplished musicianship and exciting live performances with the determination to continually create something that is new and original, and you get Sable Dawn - a female-fronted four-piece from Derby. Whilst generally speaking their style is rock/alternative, they strive to make each of their songs unique and individual. This can be heard on there brand new album, which spans many genres, such as experimental, metal, slow rock, funk, latin and atmospheric. Their sound is characterised by lofty, heart-rending vocals, expressive guitar work, and dynamic, well-oiled rhythms. This creates an infectious sound that is not easily forgotten once it is heard.
