SPARTACUS LIVE - Kid British / With Love From Humans / Harrys Little Stand / The Flamistics

Kid British create their own noise by mixing a bit of this with a bit of that and ending up with one big fat MANKY sandwich. A tasty shank of old school ska and dancehall, a generous twist of indie (be rude not to rudeboy!) a light splash of reggae, and garnished with a juicy slice of electro pop - voila! these lads whip up a tune as easy as Jamie Oliver making a meal out of the contents of a students fridge - you still with me? Their music is said to sound like a stretchy, goo-ey mixture of The Specials...Outkast.....Madness.....De La Soul.....Gorillaz....The Streets and Blur. At a time when musicians take music way too seriously - these boys are gonna put the fun back into listenin to tunes. To understand what KID BRITISH are all about all you have to do is wash yer mouth out an listen up!

With Love From Humans
A quirky, four-piece indiesque band from Bath, UK. They formed in late 2007. Since then they haven't slept. The first demo, which we completed in may 2008 which can be heard via their myspace. It can also be downloaded for FREE. They are in the process of writing their debut album which will be toured in early 2009.

Harrys Little Stand
Singer/Songwriter Sam Drury and his band Harry's Little Stand have been together for just six months and are already making themselves known in the music industry playing several well know venues in London, including The Troubador - Kensington, The Gardeners Club - Covent garden, and Monkey Chews in Camden. With a unique, bluesy, and soulful voice Sam Drury leads his band consisting of the remarkably talented David Collier (Lead Guitar) with Helen Harper supplying killer bass-lines and Sam Kenyon on drums.  After playing with the likes of Laura Izibor, Naomi Roper and Rosie Oddie - Sam Drury and his funky threesome are booking a tour of their own to promote the release of their up and coming EP 'Work My Way' set for release in Summer 2008. Like the love child of James Morrison and James Brown with the added shaft of musical intricacies such as Jamiraquai. Sam Drury and his band Harry's Little Stand captivated the Monkeys Chews audience for the entirety of their set with their personal and engaging lyrics, backed by illustrious melodies and soulful charm.

The Flamistics
- Mixing great commercial tunes with quality musicianship. The band boasts not only exciting studio projects but a live act that is already well beyond the performance level of any unsigned band in the capital.  Within the last year The Flamistics have headlined such respected London venues as The Metro Club (Oxford Street),The Bullet Bar (Camden), Sound (Leicester Square) and The Comedy (Leicester Square). Amongst this years performances the band have recorded a full demo album at Ealing Studio under the title “Standing up to You“, cataloguing some of the bands most promising material to date.  The recordings show the band from many different angles and captures the versatility of the individual players and how they grooves as a unit.
