Gig Guide: Fri 24th Oct
Fri 24th Oct 19:30 Wild Youth / To The Bones / The Roads / SOS
Wild Youth are a crazy bunch of kids with an average age of 17, sounding like a cross between Guns and Roses and the Sex Pistols they put on live shows that blow people away.
They play music for kids that wanna scream and go crazy. Bored with the music they are here to wake you up. They played Download last year on saturday afternoon as an unsigned act along with other festivals across europe.
To The Bones
Hailing from glamorous Bolton, the four-piece play a feral mix of riffs and melody; imagine the Pixies tackling QOTSA/Motorhead and you're along the right lines. Vocalist Rhys.G.Bradley possesses the most glorious guttural growl since Kurt Cobain shredded this larynx for our listening pleasure. The band write amazing, hook-laden rock songs that you'll find rumbling around your head days after your last To The Bones
“Marvellous urgency and intelligence – all layered fuzzy guitars, a pounding rhythm section, impassioned vocals and the unlikeliest hooks… To The Bones are sure to become a significant name in UK independent rock… Keep your eyes and ears open.” - Rocksound Magazine
The Roads
Simple, to the point and noisy to boot, its over before you've really taken it all in, which means you'll listen to it again
SOS
A young 4 peice from the midlands. They are currently working on a collaboration of songs combining many genres mixed into a unique sound to release as their first demo EP. After a mildly recent change of line up and finding that special spark they were looking for, SOS are hard at work recording and mixing these new songs whilst trying to gig as much as possible to bring this music to you, the people.

Sandman Magazine
"..a great collection of songs; sometimes beautiful, other times experimental"
Square Indie
"Love In A Lift" is stomping and mesmerising in equal measure, with a good old-fashioned catchy singalong chorus thrown in. "Manifesto", too, is a charm. A ukelele has never sounded so epic!"
Thee SPC
The Accidentals
A three piece alternaive / rock band who have been together since late 2006 built up from shared interests in music they've come along the road of the unsigned band to play some great gigs at great venues along with great bands such as GRAVITY CRISIS,TMART AND THE RAIDERS,BATTLECAT.
Euler were formed roughly back in 2006, in a basement in the Forest Fields district of Nottingham. Their new tracks reflect the diversity of Nottingham perfectly from the up market bars of the city to the ASBO ridden estates that surround it. In usual Euler Style the gigs will no doubt be passionate events with the raw sound that has become their trade mark. Check out the Ep recorded at Confetti studio which is available on their myspace page.
