SPARTACUS LIVE - Boy Com / Cats & Criminals / Adam Shabbo / Tom Peay

Boy Com
(short for BOY COMMUNICATION) is a nine piece Dub- Reggae-Hip-Hop collective, whose aim is to make you groove till the end of the night, even after you've left the venue. Its like the coolest house party you've ever been to: there's plenty of booze, beautiful girls, and BOY COM. are providing your ideal soundtrack. With their new album ‘Paraphonilia’ now available, you can expect the phatest beats, the smoothest basslines and the roaring-est brass section you've ever heard! There ain't a chance in hell you won't like them!

“There’s enough strength and versatility within their own self- coined ‘Dub-Hop’ sound to make it clear we’d better keep an eye on these guys” - DV8 Magazine

Cats and Criminals
Breaking through the sea of Indie Rock, Cats and Criminals hit the London music scene in 2005 with a unique blend of deep hip-hop grooves, punching funk horns and heavy hooks. The song writing from Rob Wilcox shows a perfect mix of old school soul, funk, nu-jazz and hip hop, creating songs that never fail to pack out the dance floor. Exciting solos from the brass and tight performances from the rhythm section give amazing energy to the live show. With a variety of influences from Jazz and R’n’B to Reggae and Pop, the band have created a sound that has been likened to artists such as such as Jamiroquai, Lily Allen and Mark Ronson. Since first playing together three years ago, the band have built up a loyal fan base and continue to develop their live show and build a name for themselves around the London area.

Adam Shabbo
Born in London on the 25th of March, Adam has always had a passion for music especially that of good song writers. His songs demonstrate his love of music with their memorable melodies and insightful lyrics.

Tom Peay
The intricacy and delicacy of Tom Peay’s songwriting shows wisdom beyond his years and he performs with a passionate, uncompromising delivery, drawing influences from singer songwriters such as Paul Simon, Sting and John Mayer.
