Esteban
Esteban call their music Desert Funk. It's what happens when you want to dance! to get up and get down to dirty funk beats, to be taken on a journey through lyrical landscapes that transport you to the hills of Santiago and the beaches of South East Asia. Enchanted by gloriously addictive pop hooks your senses are reminded of Chili's, Jamiroquai, Bee Gees, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Bob Marley and The Police. With touring firmly in their blood, Esteban have appeared alongside Gomez, Chumbawamba and the Young Knives. On the road is where you'll be captivated by vocalist Stephen's enigmatic performances and crazy dance moves.
Midas
Stourbridge based quintet emerging from a resurgent Midlands scene who deliver songs of passion, intensity and energy. Combining powerful guitars, electro stabs and tight rhythms the band creates an immensely unique sound. March 2007 saw the bands debut single 'Don't Dance' enter the UK singles chart at 59 and number 3 in the Indie Chart. Second Single 'Red Shoes' was released on the band's own indie label 'Plastic Tank Records' quickly selling out of its limited C.D run and clocked up numerous downloads. After spending the summer months on the road touring with American Shiny Toy Guns, as well as taking in festivals in the U.K & Venice Midas are keen to play the University circuit with a number of gigs lined up at Student Unions before undertaking their own headlining nationwide tour in early December.
SOS
A young 4 peice from the midlands. They are currently working on a collaboration of songs combining many genres mixed into a unique sound to release as their first demo EP. After a mildly recent change of line up and finding that special spark they were looking for, SOS are hard at work recording and mixing these new songs whilst trying to gig as much as possible to bring this music to you, the people.
