Grammatics
Formed around April 2006 in a terraced house basement just outside Leeds city centre. They write songs faster than they can learn them, rarely repeat song sections without warping them into something different and attempt to utilise any instruments they can find regardless of quality or tone. Grammatics are a stylistically diverse band and like to hop though most of the genres related to indie-rock. Maybe they are stylistically incoherent. Maybe they are self-indulgent. Hopefully they will please the ears of those susceptible to that kind of nonsense.

You Animals
You Animals hail from an old bakery in Derbyshire and describe themselves as “meladramatic popular song/indie/showtunes”. They’ve not long returned from playing the BBC Introducing stage in Wales and have recently been in the studio with the outcome a set of kenetic, catchy pop tunes available on their MySpace.

My Psychoanalyst
My Psychoanalyst are a querky bunch of, as they themselves put it, “old and new friends making noises that sound nice”. They inhabit Derby and have made the journey to Maide Vale to record a session for Huw Stephens Radio 1 show. They claim their influences are Gingsters pasties, as well as Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think and Johnny Foreigner. Double A side single “We Disagree/Panophobia” is available on shiny circle right now.

Smugglers Run
Four lads hailing from the East Midlands and the south all studying Film Production and based in Sheffield. Their influences are from the likes of the Sex Pistols, The Doors, and the Arctic Monkeys (obviously), The Strokes, Dead Kennedys and so on. Formed a band simply to be heard, and simply because they love performing live.
