Hijak Oscar have played all over the country supporting bands such as Alabama 3, Son of Dave, Jack Penate, Mostly Autumn and many more as well as playing an impressive amount of headliners in and out of the York music scene. In late 2006 Hijak self produced their debut album, "Hijak Oscar" which has sold over 400 copies in the UK with absolutely no distribution or label deals helping them along the way. Throughout 2006-2007 Hijak Oscar have performed several times live on BBC Radio York, and have recently powered through the early stages of the mobileAct unsigned competition for Channel 4. This will only spread the music faster and farther than could ever be imagined by a band spawned in the musical graveyard of the North.

Old Basford have succeeded in creating a deafening buzz around Nottingham and are ready to spread their wings and go big time. Having played extensively throughout the U.K. Over their three years together Old Basford’s friendship and lifestyle is now effortlessly expressed within their Heavy soulful boogie. Their sound is unobtainable to anyone lacking single minded devotion to rock and roll. Tight, insatiable rhythms somehow contain the raw energy stirred up by powerful, impassioned vocals. All is irresistibly engaging, all conspiring to set this band apart from fashionable pretenders. Old Basford have tapped into rock and rolls’ main artery and share its life blood with influences such as Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Keys and The Band. Old Basford are doing their best to return excitement and credibility to British Rock music.

Kill It Kid - A rusting set of sincere ideals and simple melody in a 50 year old guitar gave birth to kill it kid. Concentrating on music without falsity or pretence. Kill It Kid rewire pre-war delta blues, compress the mississippis memoires, Kill it Kid are coining their own brand of boutique burlesque blues.
