Gig Guide: Fri 30th May

Fri 30th May 20:00 Rebel Soul Collective / Green For Go / Mellow Rebellion / James Capper

Rebel Soul Collective
6 boys and a girl based in Nottingham with a sound of pop, reggae and funk influences. Their outlook is one of simplicity - to make good music with each song individual and distinctly different from the last..

Green For Go
4 skankers mocking the trouble they see in Nottingham on a daily basis. "Its all about getting that important message accross to the people who just don't realise what exactly they're doing to this place man." With the arrival of dub side and radiodread, they were all intrested to find out more about DUB and take it it forward as a kind of caucasian ragga sensation. They still obviously have the indie/rock vibe, as that is where our roots ly. But they want to make those roots into ROOTS and bring back what THE SPECIALS did so well.

Mellow Rebellion formed back in December 06 after previous band Lucky Bullet split. To date, the band have played numerous gigs all across the midlands and are currently in the process of releasing their long awaited debut EP titled 'Mastermind'.

James Capper is just a normal Derby lad who writes songs about eventfull situations he's had, like friday night antics, girls etc...
